The Accessible Room
The Access rooms measure 7.4m x 3.2m
- Door width 770mm, the clear open width.
- Latchside space to wall/corner is 320mm.
- Lever handle, 1m height from the floor.
- Magnetic swipe card entry.
- Automatic door return.
- Internal corridor width 1.22m.
- Two King singles can be zipped together, 540mm in height to the floor.
- Limited space underneath. Distance from the bed to furniture/wall at:
- Foot 1.1m to the wall,
- Left side to fridge etc. 1.3m,
- Right side to wall with window 1.2m.
- Furniture can be removed upon request.
- Ta/coffee making facilities are reachable with bench height 700mm underneath & 730mm to the top.
- The airconditioner control is wall mounted at 1.16m above the floor.
- Lights and TV (remote) can be operated from bed.
- The clothes hanging space height is very reachable but located in the corner next to the desk so difficult to access.
- The views are across the city.
