The Accessible Room 

Key Measurements: Access Rooms provide two bedroom configurations 5.75m x 3.2m and 5m x 3.66m

  • Door width 770mm clear open width.
  • Latchside space to wall/corner 465mm.
  • Lever handle 1m above the floor.
  • Swipe card entry.          
  • Automatic door return.
  • Internal corridor width at its narrowest point 1.3mm.
  • Two  King sized beds (Twin King singles) – room can be configured to suit your needs.
  • Height of main bed from top of mattress to floor 590mm.
  • Limited space underneath the main bed.
  • Distance from the foot of the bed to the furniture or wall 1.14mm.
  • Furniture can be removed.
  • Lights and TV (remote) can be operated from bed.
  • Aircoditioning control height 1m.
  • The clothes hanging is reachable at 1.25m if one bed is removed.
  • The tea/coffee making facilities can be reached if one bed is removed.
  • The view from the window is city buildings.
  • Some access rooms measure 5.3m x 3.6m offering more end of bed circulation space – removing the single bed creates more space.
